Velvet Revolveris a hard rocksupergroup who released their debut album "Contraband"in 2004. The band is made up of ex- Guns N' Rosesmembers Slash(guitar), Duff McKagan(bass), and Matt Sorum(drums), as well as Scott Weiland(vocals) of Stone Temple Pilotsand Dave Kushner(guitar) of the hardcore punkband Wasted Youth. On December 4th of 2006, Velvet Revolver started recording their second album, entitled "Libertad" which is Spanish for freedom.
